RELOCATE    *     REHABILITATE    *    REUSE

Here are some of the tasks that will help get the Shotgun House on a new foundation if the Santa Monica Conservacny proposal for reuse is accepted:

RELOCATE

-Raise funds to move the house to the permanent site

REHABILITATE

-Find, review, and write foundations for preservation and education grants 
-Find and solicit corporations for preservation and education funds and in-kind donations of goods and services
-Find and solicit individuals for preservation and education funds and in-kind donations of goods and services
-Write and mail fundraising letters
-Make fundraising phone calls
-Acknowledge donations
-Assist with updating website
-Document progress (photography, written reports)

REUSE

-Assist in preparing the house for use as a preservation resource center
-Volunteer to staff the house for a few hours per week
